Doncaster Art Club

The Doncaster Art Club, founded in 1897, one of Yorkshire’s earliest art clubs, has a tradition of encouraging painting and boasts many illustrious artists as past and present members.

We are a friendly group of beginners and experienced practitioners with a shared enthusiasm for art. We are proud that the prestigious Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery hosts our Annual Exhibition, whilst other exhibitions are held at different venues as the opportunity arises.

SUMMER PROGRAMME

During the summer we meet on regular monthly weekends at local venues (with toilet facilities etc.) Keen members make an early start about 10.00am, but come any time. Bring a packed lunch

WINTER PROGRAMME

The winter programme provides demonstrations by competent artists and workshops which focus on a particular theme or aspect of painting and drawing. They are usually led by senior members.
